Many thanks to a generous donor, they know who they are, we will have a new paint job on the interior of the keeper's quarters for our guests next Summer 2021.
I need to find a painter for the Spring. Another one ducked out.
I winterized the place October 22nd, 2020. The painting on the eves and second story windows looks great to me.
I took a painter out the 15th of September 2020 and he decided not to do the job because he felt there are ghosts there! Really, that's what he told me. He believes the stories online about the lighthouse. It cost our 501c3 a pretty penny.
Order a Lighthouse hat to help us raise money for restorations please:
WE HAVE A NEW T SHIRT DESIGN WITH THE PHOTO:

WE WILL NOT BE SCHEDULING TOWER CLIMBS OR OVERNIGHT STAYS UNTIL THE CORONA SITUATION CHANGES. WE HAVE ISSUES ABOUT HAVING SOCIAL DISTANCING , WHICH WE ARE STRICT ABOUT, WITH THE LADDER TO BOARD THE ISLAND AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN GUESTS ON THE BOAT RIDE.
PLEASE CALL AT ANYTIME TO SPEAK ABOUT THESE OR ANY OTHER ISSUES I MAY COMMENT ON. I MAY GO OUT MYSELF FROM TIME TO TIME TO PAINT. IF WE GET ENOUGH DONATIONS, I WILL GET BIDS FOR THE RESTORATION PROJECTS ON MY LIST. WE WILL THEN PROCEED WITH THE WORK!
THANK YOU.
SINCERELY.
